Netflix Finally Confirms Beyoncé Documentary And The 'Homecoming' Trailer Looks Epic
Just hours after dropping a mysterious teaser on social media, streaming giant Netflix has finally confirmed a long-overdue documentary about Queen Bey with a trailer. Dropping next week, it promises fans front-row seats at 2018's Beychella extravaganza.
Ahead of Monday's trailer, Netflix had posted an image featuring the word 'Homecoming' spelled out in Greek-style lettering against a yellow background, pointing eager fans to the possibility of a brand new documentary about the legendary singer and entertainer.

Beyoncé's history-making 2018 Coachella performance paid homage to America's historically black colleges and universities.
According to Netflix, footage of the iconic performance will be interspersed with candid footage of Beyoncé and will include interviews with the megastar detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision - from the initial concept to the cultural movement it inspired.
Clips in the trailer, which dropped today, show Beyoncé and her dancers rehearsing, and also feature glimpses of her three children.
Alongside a trailer, Netflix wrote on Instagram and its US twitter feed: "An in-depth look at Beyoncé's celebrated 2018 Coachella performance from creative concept to cultural movement. #beyoncehomecoming"
On the UK twitter account the video was simply captioned with five bee emojis.
Fans, of course were overwhelmed by the news and the trailer racked up more than 10,000 within half an hour.
One tweeted: "The moment when you are more excited to watch a documentary about Beyoncé's set than watching anyone perform this year."
While another commented: "CAN'T BELIEVE BEYONCÉ JUST CREATED NETFLIX."
A third simply said: "so. much. power. in. this. ONE. TRAILER."
HOMECOMING: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ launches globally on Netflix Wednesday, April 17th 2019.
