Netflix has just released a brand new documentary series, Murder Among The Mormons - and people are binging it in one sitting.

The doc delves into a series of bombings that took place in Salt Lake City, in 1985, killing two people and severely injuring another. The devastating events sent shockwaves through the community, and the Latter Day Saint (LDS) Church.

You can watch a trailer for the series below:

As the community grieved, a series of early Mormon letters and diaries were found destroyed in the vehicle of the third victim, Mark Hofmann - a renowned collector of rare documents, including the infamous White Salamander Letter - the contents of which "threatened to shake the very foundations of Mormonism".

"As Hofmann fights for his life, investigators race to uncover the truth," Netflix explain.

"Murder Among The Mormons is the first comprehensive look at one of the most shocking crimes to have ever taken place among the Mormon community and the criminal mastermind behind it all."

It certainly sounds harrowing, and viewers have been totally hooked, with several describing the events that unfold as "mindblowing".
