'Love Island' Australia Lands On ITVBe today

It apparently makes our UK version look so, so tame.

Remember that Love Island thing? Course you do, the ITV dating show took up every day of our summer for eight whole weeks, yet it feels like a lifetime ago, doesn't it?

Lucky for us then that the Australian version of the show is hitting UK screens tonight - and it's said to be triply as saucy as the UK show.

Series two of the Aussie version will be airing in ITVBe tonight at 10pm, a week after debuting on Nine Network Down Under.

Anyone who watched the first series of Love Island Australia will be able to tell you it should not be watched with parents in any circumstances.

The show apparently makes our UK show look like Sesame Street, with raunchy sex scene nightly, condoms strewn across the villa, NSFW tasks and physical punch-ups.

Love Island Australia is hosted by Caroline Flack's Aussie equivalent, TV presenter Sophie Monk while Irish presenter Eoghan McDermott takes on the narrating role in place of Iain Stirling.

A far cry from the UK's humble Mallorcan villa, the Aussie contestants are being put up in an enormous villa in Fiji.

Yes, the Australians have taken their show to the tropics, far, far away from the UK's European digs.

The villa is literally triple the size of ours but it features all the same familiar Love Island accents such as fairy lights in the garden, neon signs saying stuff like 'Good vibes only' and 'Hello gorgeous', and bean bags in the garden.

Add to that a 190,000 litre pool, a vast timber decking, a fire pit area where all the dumpings happen, and a big kitchen area.

Oh, and the villa is literally right on the beach, though its not known if the Islanders are allowed to go for a little morning dip.

Are we excited? Yes.

Will we be watching? YES.

Are we worried about how much of our lives this is about to take up? Absolutely.
