Jennifer Lopez is being tipped for an Oscar after her impressive performance in Hustlers.
The actress, 50, has received high praise from critics for her portrayal of sassy stripper Ramona in the hit crime-comedy, which has an all-star cast including Cardi B, Lizzo and Constance Wu.

The heist film, which is based on a true story, is about a group of strippers hustling wealthy men in New York City as they navigate the late 2000s.
Led by an ambitious, single mother, Mama - played by Mercedes J. Ruehl - they lie and steal off dozens of wealthy men until it all goes horribly wrong.
And while the star-studded cast have all been hailed for their acting skills, J.Lo in particular- who also produced the film - is beginning to start getting Oscar buzz.

After the film's debut at Toronto International Film Festival this weekend, one critic wrote on Twitter: "I know Twitter is prone to hyperbole, but I don't think it's too much to say that Jennifer Lopez may have one of the best film entrances ever in #Hustlers And she 100 percent should get an Oscar nod."
While another added: "Jennifer Lopez is amazing in HUSTLERS. STX needs to do a serious Oscar campaign for her. She is that good!!"
A third wrote: "I didn't know I needed a stripper heist film written and directed by a woman. But god bless HUSTLERS. Constance Wu is fantastic. And in my opinion, this is J.Lo's strongest performance since Selena #TIFF19".

As, of course, her fiancé Alex Rodriguez agreed, gushing: "Just watched the best performance of @jlo's career. Oscars worthy. @hustlers was incredible".
J.Lo has spent over three decades in the Hollywood circuit, so talk of an Oscar would be huge for both her and her fans.
She certainly put in the graft for the movie, even attending pole dancing lessons with a Cirque Du Soleil staffer.

"I have bruises everywhere," she said. "It's so hard. I have a lot of respect for people who do the pole."
The film premiered for the first time on 7th September, and will hit mainstream cinemas across the globe from September 13th.
