We love a gritty true crime doc to get stuck into, and now Evidence of Evil is on its way to CBS Reality.

The show will explore, reconstruct and delve into some of the most harrowing and intriguing criminal cases of the last 20 years, featuring new interviews and archived footage.

The series specifically focuses on some of the most startling cases - and how technology has worked to alter the investigation process.

While at the time of each case technology was less advanced, over the course of two decades, improving tech and forensic tools have helped decode evidence even years after the crime has taken place.

Evidence of Evil showcases the hard work of investigators, police, scientists, and other experts and uses interviews, reconstructions and never before seen footage to tell the intriguing stories.

Season three of the show, which will air on Wednesday 9th September at 10pm, will reinvestigate one of the most complex serial killers in US history, as well as the sudden death of a popular doctor and an abduction case that gained nationwide attention.

Also arriving on CBS Reality next month is Season 5 of Murder by the Sea, featuring new host - criminal historian and author, Dr Nell Darby.

Using her expert knowledge and understanding of the minds of serial killers, Dr Darby will explore a number of murder cases including a fatal dispute between two lighthouse keepers, a hotelier who turned into a cold-blooded murderer and a deathly love triangle.

Cases are set in a number of seaside towns including Bournemouth, Newport, Dundee and Jersey.

These two are going straight to the top of our watch list!

You can catch Evidence of Evil on CBS Reality on Wednesday 9th September at 10pm and Murder by the Sea on Tuesday 8th September at 10pm.
