Based on a true story, the film follows Jenkin and two other freedom fighters (played by Mark Leonard Winter and Daniel Webber) as they attempt to break out. The real escape happened 40 years ago in December, 1979.
Just eight seconds into the trailer and Radcliffe has already been handcuffed, kicked in his sleep and screamed at by a terrifying South African guard.
It goes on to explain his escape plan: to hand-carve keys from wood to open multiple steel doors. After being warned of getting "a bullet in the head" if he gets caught, we see Radcliffe trying to hand-make the literal keys escape.
It's a chilling race against time with a lot of of hurdles along the way. As tension mounts, we see scenes of explosions, determination, fights, tears, gunshots, and even glimpses of what looks like a mysterious romance with a woman played by Ratidzo Mambo.

Directed by Francis Annan and co-written by LH Adam, the story it is based on Jenkin's autobiography Inside Out: Escape From Pretoria Prison.
This is surely a must watch.
