We won't be leaving the sofa all day...

If there's one thing we love more than anything at Christmas time, it's lounging on the sofa with a box of Celebrations and watching hours and hours of TV.

And this year's schedule doesn't look set to disappoint, with tense and dramatic soap operas, fun movies for the kids and literally *tons* of feel good nostalgia and comedy hitting our screens as is only right over the festive period.

Yep, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and BBC One have now all released their full schedules for Christmas, so you can plan your telly binging down to a tee.

'Call The Midwife' Christmas Special is airing on BBC. (

For the Beeb, it will be TV specials of their biggest hits, like Strictly Come Dancing, Not Going Out and Call The Midwife that take centre stage after a morning screening of Moana.

Two Ronnies Christmas Sketchbook, Michael McIntyre's Big Christmas Show and Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas special will also be landing on screens. And let's not forget EastEnders for any soap fans.

Meanwhile we'll also finally be treated to the much anticipated return of Gavin and Stacey, which will air at half eight on Christmas Day, just as we're winding down post Christmas dinner. Perfect.

'Mrs Brown's Boys' is also back for Christmas. (

ITV have some absolute corkers throughout the day too, with celebrity packed editions of their popular game shows, Tipping Point, The Chasehe Chase and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire airing, should you want a bit of light viewing to drown out the inevitable family bickering.

Plus it will also be treating us to a festive helping of Coronation Street and Emmerdale, before later taking us on another road trip with its very own '3 Unwise Men,' Gordon Ramsay, Gino D'Campo and Fred Skirex (make sure the kids are in bed for this one. It's obvs going to be full of expletives).

'The Chase' Christmas Special will be back with celeb guests. (

If none of these take your fancy, Channel 4 have it all covered too.

It's offering a healthy dose of The Simpsons to start off the day, before airing a whole string of Christmas films back to back, from Father Christmas to The Snowman to The Snowman And The Snowdog - and let's not forget The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

You'll never want to leave the sofa!

'The Great Christmas Bake Off' is back on Channel 4. (
Channel 4)

In the afternoon, Channel 4 is also showing Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, followed by its annual edition of The Great Christmas Bake Off and a brand new episode of First Dates At Christmas. Dreamy.

Meanwhile, Channel 5 also has some absolute classics, from Scrooge - A Christmas Carol to Oliver, as well as a brand compilation of The Two Ronnies: The Unseen Sketches.

Here's the full lineups below so you can get those arguments about the remote out the way nice and early. You're welcome.
