Major New Characters Revealed In 'Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina' Teaser

Season three of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is almost back for a third season, and we've finally got IDs on some new cast members.

The supernatural teen drama, which has run for two season, is finally back after what feels like forever on Friday 24th January 2020.

Since the news of a third season emerged, the streaming service has been tantalising our tastebuds with details about the next instalment, and now it's finally revealed some actual new cast members.

In a new video posted on the official Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Twitter account, the new cast introduce themselves.

Joining the coven is model and actor Sam Corlett (Noah, Pretty Face) who is taking on the role of Caliban.

According to Deadline, Caliban - also known as the Prince of Hell - is a "darkly handsome young man with a strange charm". Apparently, he challenges Sabrina for control of the Throne of Hell, and sparks could even fly between the pair.

Also joining the lineup is Skye Marshall (Indivisible, Tony Braxton) as Mambo Marie, who is described as "a gorgeous voodoo priestess".

Apparently, Mambo Marie helps Prudence and Ambrose track down Blackwood in the third instalment.

Next up, Jonathan Whitesell (Beyond, The Kill Team) joins the teen drama as Robin.

"Robin is caring and sweet, but also a mischief maker-and perhaps something even more dangerous. He travels with the carnival that comes to Greendale, and soon develops feelings for Theo," says Deadline.

Core members of the Fright Club; Kiernan Shipka (Sabrina Spellman), Ross Lynch (Harvey Kinkle) and Jaz Sinclair (Rosalind Walker); will be back while Gavin Leatherwood (Nicholas Scratch) and Lachlan Watson (Theo Putnam) have been made series regulars for Part 3 & 4.

The upcoming season will follow the events of season two, which saw Sabrina and her pals foil the Herald of Hell prophesy by locking the Dark Lord in Nicholas Scratch's body and sending him to the seven circles after the Acheron Configuration failed to do so.

Viewers watched as the teen witch had her powers restored by Lilith (the Dark Lord's right hand woman) before she returned to Hell with Nick in tow.

While the gang dealt with the Dark Lord, Sabrina's cousin Ambrose and Prudence were seen hatching a plan to find Father Blackwood after he poisoned the followers of the Church of Night and ran away with Prudence's baby brother and sister.

With the Church of Night in disarray and many of their members dead, Aunt Zelda appointed herself High Priestess and head of The Academy of Unseen Arts.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Parts 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Netflix and Part 2 hits the streaming service on Friday 24th January 2020.
