Below Deck Season 8 drops on Tuesday 3rd November - just in time for Lockdown 2.

All episodes of the eighth instalment will arrive on Hayu, and after Tyla chatted to Captain Lee last week about the upcoming season, it certainly sounds like it'll be a juicy one.

So what's going to happen?! Well, it'll take place in the Caribbean - one of Captain Lee's favourite places to sail - and also sees the return of Bosun Eddie Lucas.

Eddie had previously starred on the first three seasons of the show before calling it a day, but now he's returned with a brand new crew.

And Captain Lee is definitely pleased to have him back, explaining: "Eddie has been like a breath of fresh air. It was great to see a familiar face and have him on board. He's grown up a lot and he's matured well, he performed admirably."

Aw, good for you Eddie.

Meanwhile, replacing Kate Chastain will be Australian adventurer Francesca Rubi, who Hayu explains "reaches breaking point when she discovers her stews are not up to her 'white gloves, no water marks' standards". Yikes!

Joining Kate will be "certified yacht master" Isabelle "Izzy" Wouters and astrology fanatic, Elizabeth Frankini.

There's a new chef too, Michelin-restaurant trained Rachel Hargrove, from Florida. Meanwhile, joining Eddie's team will be flirtatious party animal James Hough, from London and surfer turned environmentalist Shane Coopersmith, from California.

Now, as Below Deck fans will know, whether it's arguments or romance, the show is always filled with drama. But what can we expect this year?

Well, Captain Lee has revealed there *will* be a Season 8 romance!

"There's always a romance of sorts on board I don't think that's something that can be avoided. As much as captains would like to say 'ok no one is going to hook up this year', that's like trying to herd cats it's never going to happen.

"I really can't say [who it is], it'll be the most unusual suspects."

Juicy! We'll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for signs...

If there's one thing we love about Below Deck it's some of the outrageous demands by made by guests. Captain Lee's most difficult - and expensive - request came during the festive period.

"We were in Baltimore and a guest wanted a specific type of pig they ate every New Year's Eve. We had to fly it in from New Zealand.

"Just the logistics of getting that done over the holidays at short notice... it was expensive, too. I had to go through so many different people, locating it, getting it shipped and delivered by a certain time."

We can also expect some outrageous demands in the upcoming season, with Captain Lee adding: "Somebody is always coming up with something, but nothing surprises me anymore!"

Of course, filming any telly series over the past few months has been tricky. In the new season, we see how the crew react to the news of Covid-19, which had only just emerged during filming.

Captain Lee explained: "It was [stressful]. I guess the severity of it was unexpected. No one anticipated what was headed for us but we adapted well.

"I was in contact daily with my wife and we just really didn't realise how bad it was going to get, it was still in its early stages."

We're so glad the crew managed to continue filming - Below Deck you couldn't come at a better time!
