New Netflix TV series Behind Her Eyes looks like it could be our next binge watch - and fans of popular drama The Affair will love it.

The thriller follows a similar pattern to the hit Showtime series with Ruth Wilson and Dominic West, who starred as lovers embarking on an affair after meeting at the diner where Ruth's character Alison worked.

In this new dark and suspenseful tale, single mum Louise begins an affair with her married boss, David, when she begins working in a psychiatrist's office to support her and her son after her husband walks out on her.

Though she finds herself in a tricky situation already, things get even more complicated when Louise unexpectedly becomes friends with David's wife, Adele, who is new in town.

"What starts as an unconventional love triangle soon becomes a dark, psychological tale of suspense and twisted revelations," a synopsis for the show teases.

"Louise finds herself caught in a dangerous web of secrets where nothing and no-one is what they seem."

Sounds intriguing!

And we're sure to be in for a treat with the star-studded cast too.

Starring The Night Manager's Simona Brown as Louise, Bono's daughter Eve Hewson as Adele and Tom Bateman (Vanity Fair) as David, we're really looking forward to this one!

The series is based on a best-selling book by Sarah Pinborough, an author known for her dark and twisted tales and we're hoping for the same with this Netflix adaptation.

Think twisted mind games, lots of mystery and a far-from-perfect marriage between David and Adele.

There's no release date for the six-episode series yet, so it might be a while before it hits our screens, but it's due to stream on Netflix when it does.

Let's hope we don't have to wait too long for this one to drop.
