PSA: hearthrob Michele Morrone - who is getting fans very hot under the collar as Mafia hunk Massimo in steamy Netflix romance 365 DNI - stars in another series on the streaming service.

For anyone not familiar with the 365 DNI, the lusty Polish drama is based on author Blanka Lipinska's novel of the same name and follows the, ahem, unconventional relationship between Laura Biel (Anna Maria Sieklucka) and Massimo Torricelli (Michele Morrone).

Viewers have declared that the film's raunchy sex scenes make 50 Shades of Grey "look PG-rated" - and it appears they can't get enough of Michele's chiselled good looks.

The Italian actor caught the attention of viewers in steamy Netflix romance film '365 DNI' (
Netflix)

"I AM SORRY CHRISTIAN GREY BUT MASSIMO HAS STOLEN MY HEART," tweeted one love-struck fan.

While another gushed: "There are attractive men and then there's michele marrone."

"I will no longer be entertaining any conversations about Christian Grey. This is a purely Massimo account now #365dni #365days," joked a third.

Luckily, there's more Michele action where 365 DNI came from, became the 29-year-old Italian actor also stars in Italian crime drama series The Trial, which is available to watch on Netflix.

While it's likely that Michele's involvement will be reason enough alone for many viewers to tune in, allow us to walk you through the concept...

The Trial - created by Alessandro Fabbri - follows a group of characters who find themselves implicated in the brutal murder of 17-year-old girl, Angelica.

On the legal side, there's prosecutor Elena Guerra, who is linked to the victim, and career-driven lawyer Ruggero Barone, who considers the upcoming trial the chance of a lifetime.

Then there's Linda Monaco, the only defendant, who claims to be innocent.

Michele plays Claudio Cavalleri, who becomes a prime suspect for Angelica's murder. His alibi is his wife Linda Monaco, played by Camilla Filippi.

Given that fans have been lusting hard after Michele's brooding Massimo in 365 DNI, we're guessing that Claudio will have the same impact.

Yes, both characters have creepy AF storylines - but we don't talk about that part.

As the trial unfolds, viewers are kept guessing, with the series building towards a verdict.

The trailer is a hot mix of intense courtroom exchanges, Italian architecture and dark flashbacks to a car crash.

And if that isn't enough Michele for you, we encourage you - in the name of diligent research, obvs - to check out the modelling shots posted to his Instagram feed.

There's one of him riding a horse, another of him wading through the sea.

And - seriously - we've never seen someone looking so hot blowing bubblegum.

Fans of the actor will be happy to hear that he is currently believed to be single, after divorcing his wife Rouba Saadeh in 2018.

The pair have two children, Marcus, born in 2014, and Brando, born in 2017, who also feature on the doting dad's page regularly.

We'll leave you to have a good long browse...

The Trial and 356 DNI are available to watch on Netflix.
