Bianca Del Rio Reveals Who She Thinks Will Be Appearing On Drag Race UK

The Season 6 winner exclusively revealed her thoughts on the news that Drag Race is coming to the UK.

Earlier today it was revealed that RuPaul's Drag Race is finally coming to the UK, and is currently casting for new Queens.

In an exciting video, RuPaul confirmed the news herself, and called for any budding UK drag artists to sign up for a shot at being featured.

And now, one of the show's most popular Queens and winner of Season 6, Bianca Del Rio, has revealed who she thinks we should look out for.

In an exclusive interview with Pretty 52, she joked "I've met many Queens from the UK, and none of them are talented."

As any well-seasoned Drag Race fan will know, Bianca isn't known for her good grace, and was clearly joking about this (at least we think so, anyway).

And all jokes aside, she did have good things to say about two home-grown queens - Meth and Myra Dubois.

Meth

Meth is a London-based Queen who is a member of the queer performance collective The Familyyy Fierce and star of the London Lives.

According to her website, she has "Stormed the UK scene in a relentless revolutionary charge of strange and seductive extravagance.

"The mistress of internationally acclaimed Drag show The Meth Lab and self proclaimed female-surrealist; Meth has quickly earned an infamous reputation around the world for her bizarre and beautiful spin on Drag."

This London-based Queen has already worked with several names from Drag Race royalty, including Raja, Jinkx Monsoon, Latrice Royal, Trixie Mattel, Shangela and BenDeLaCreme, so she'll be in good company if she lands a spot on the UK's version of the show.

Myra DuBois

Myra DuBois hails from Rotherham, and supported Bianca on the Northern leg of her 'Blame It On Bianca Del Rio' tour in 2018.

The Northern lass describes herself as: "A quadruple threat who acts, sings, dances, and pours a decent pint." She also calls herself "Rotherham's finest export since Paul Shane."

Fans of Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side might recognise Myra, as she's found herself on the show's panel several times (not that she likes to mention it, or anything).

CBBBOTS isn't the only show she's appeared on, though, as she's also appeared on Dom Joly's Fool Britannia and The John Bishop Show, where she performed her signature number 'I know him so well'.

Myra was nominated four years consecutively at the London Cabaret Awards, before walking away with the gong in 2013, and then hosting the event in both 2013 and 2014.

While it's not yet known when the UK Queens will be announced, these are definitely two to keep an eye on.

Bianca Del Rio will be embarking on the world tour for her new show 'It's Jester Joke' in 2019, and will be appearing in several major cities across the UK - including London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
