Appearing alongside Queen Bey (aka Beyonce) would have most of us feeling a little intimidated.
Unless you're David Cowen, American Sign Language interpreter, that is.

Signing along to the singer's dancehall-influenced and ultra-physical 2006 track Get Me Bodied at Atlanta Pride, it quickly became apparent that David was no sideline act - oh no, he came to deliver.
There was body rolling. There was booty shaking. Basically, we were not ready for David's jelly.

Social media promptly went nuts for the signer's sassy moves.
A video shared to Twitter by deaf and gay activist, actor, and model Nyle DiMarco quickly went viral, shared with the caption: 'Sign language interpreter at pride ATL is [fire emojis]'.
At the time of writing, the video has 19,175 retweets and 120,443 likes...and we're not surprised, tbh.
Responses included: "Oh my god. David. I've been waiting for you my whole life."

While another user wrote: "He's feeling every little bit of it, I love it!"
The Deaf Queer Resource Center's Twitter account chimed in with a little background information on the mover. "David rocks!" they wrote. "[He] is the first Deaf LGBTQ person to be chosen as an Atlanta Pride Grand Marshal (in 2017)."
If that wasn't enough, it turns out that Cowen is a pillar of Atlanta's LGBTQ community. Outside of his work as an Atlanta Pride Grand Marshal he has signed at anti-Trump demonstrations, the Women's March, and several Black Lives Matter demonstrations across the city.

David previously told The Georgia Voice: "It's been my passion to make language accessible in our community. It's a privilege to break down the communication barrier."
The signer didn't let his social media fame go to his head though, humbly responding: 'Thank you, @NyleDiMarco for posting this.... That crazy guy is me!"
