Spice Girls fever is at an all-time high and the film industry has clocked on: a Spice Girls movie is in the works.
Bosses at Paramount Studios have confirmed a new animated Spice Girls film is on its way, including all all five members (Victoria Beckham, too), Independant report.
According to the paper, the story will see the girls reimagined as superheroes, and Emma Bunton, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Mel B will be lending their voices to the production.

It will apparently also include some new songs.
"They are very involved," the president of Paramount Animation told the paper, adding they "had an idea [they'd] been developing" the film.
The yet-unnamed Spice Girls film is due to be released in 2020, 13 years after the girls' first move, Spice World was released. The film is being released along with several other animated projects including the SpongeBob Squarepants movie.

We hear the production will be produced by Spice Girls' boss Simon Fuller, and written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith who did the screenplay for Legally Blonde.
The Spice Girls (minus Victoria) are currently nearing the end of their reunion tour which has seen them complete dates around the UK.
