It might not be the whole town, but if you've always fancied living the Johnny Rose dream, the charming Rosebud Motel from Schitt's Creek is up for sale and it could be yours for a cool $2,000,000 CAD (or £1,156,345.

Its real name is Hockley Motel, and is situated around 55 miles north of Toronto in Canada, in a little town called Hockley Valley, Ontario. A major location for the multi-award winning Canadian TV series which ended this year after six seasons, the building is a whopping 4,300 square foot and spans 6.70 acres.

The listing for the property says it includes 10 units, a two-story manager's suite, and a one-bedroom cottage, while in the surrounding area you'll find the Nottawasaga River, a highly desirable fishing river for rainbow trout and salmon, so it's great for those who enjoy getting out in nature.

As it stands, the property is not currently operational, so the new owner has carte blanche to turn it into something really special. Whoever scoops up the property will have lots of options, and can be sure Schitt's Creek fans will be paying a visit for years to come.

The listing also suggests investing in 'contactless' check-in to make it more Covid secure and adding an outdoor fire pit, picnic tables and other seating for guests' to help them enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Current owner Jesse Tipping told CTV News that the purchasers may turn it into a Schitt's Creek-themed boutique motel

Tipping himself a Schitt's Creek fan, he added: "The property itself is so beautiful. It's very pretty and it's an incredible spot and the motel itself has had a great history in the community. I hope that somebody who buys it honours that history and is able to keep it going"

Funnily enough, Schitt's Creek is not the property's only claim to fame. In Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, assassins Hazel and Agnes seek refuge at the motel, too.
