Will Smith made a joke about his altercation with Chris Rock, following the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday.

ICYMI, the Oscars took a dramatic turn when Will walked on stage and 'slapped' Rock, after he made a G.I. Jane joke about Jada.

G.I. Jane is an action movie from 1997, where lead actress Demi Moore shaves her head. It seems Rock's joke was in reference to Jada's shaven style, after the 50-year-old recently opened up about her experience with alopecia.

You can watch what happened below:

Following the incident, Will could be seen making a joke about the situation on Instagram.

Earlier in the evening, he had uploaded a video montage of he and Jada, captioned: "Me 'n @jadapinkettsmith got all dressed up to choose chaos."

He later added a comment to the post which read: "You can't invite people from Philly or Baltimore nowhere."

It's believed Will is referencing his own birthplace of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Jada's of Baltimore.

After Rock's joke was made, Will approached him on stage and appeared to 'slap' him before walking back to his seat in the audience.

He told Rock: "Keep my wife's name out of your f*cking mouth".

"Wow, dude. It was a G.I. Jane joke," replied Rock.

Will repeated: "Keep my wife's name out of your f*cking mouth".

Rock, who was clearly in shock, said: "I am going to." before adding "that was uh... the greatest night in the history of television."

Many were left stunned by the shocking incident, while others were heartbroken for Jada, after her reaction to the joke came to light.

One said: "The look on Jada's face after what Chris said was even more heartbroken."

And a third added: "Jada was so so heartbroken and sad when the camera panned over to her after that joke."
