Milly Bobby Brown has said she'd love to play Amy Winehouse in a future project.
The Stranger Things star, 16, has revealed she'd jump at the chance to play the musical icon, who sadly died in 2011.
While promoting her new Netflix movie, Enola Holmes, the actress was asked which historical figure she'd love to play on screen.

"I wouldn't say she's historical, but I'd love to play her...," she began. "Amy Winehouse, I personally think is like an icon to R&B, blues and basically the whole culture of music.
"I think that she really... I just love her music, and I really was impacted by her whole story.
"And so I always say that I would love to play her."

It isn't the first time the actress has expressed her love for the late Camden-born singer, who sadly died from alcohol poisoning on 13th July 2011.
During a 2019 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Milly told the host about her adoration for the singer.
"Amy Winehouse is like my favourite," she said before Jimmy played a childhood video of the actress singing her hit 'Valerie'.

"When I was like a kid kid, baby, Amy Winehouse was my thing. Still is," Milly explained.
"Now I can listen to her and actually impersonate her," she added, before wowing audiences with a few verses from 'You Know I'm No Good'.
We're here for this casting and if producers were choosing on personal connection to the role alone, we think Milly deserves the part more than any!
