Fans of Taylor Swift have been left stunned after the singer responded to Millie Bobby Brown's engagement post.

You are probably wondering about the connection here. Well, Brown used lyrics from Swift's hit song 'Lover' in her post to announce she was engaged.

On Tuesday (11 April), the Stranger Things star shared that she had got engaged to boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, having been together for two-and-a-half-years.

The 19-year-old confirmed the exciting news in an adorable Instagram post, which showed them both hugging and smiling, with a new ring visible on that finger.

Quoting Swift's smash hit, Brown wrote: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all."

20-year-old Bongiovi, the son of the legendary singer Jon Bon Jovi, also shared the announcement on his own Instagram, simply writing: "Forever."

Alongside the post, Bongiovi did include some loved-up snaps of the pair to mark the big occasion.

As you'd expect, many fans and famous faces flocked to the comment section of the engagement posts to offer their congratulations to the happy couple.

One wrote: "OMG CONGRATULATIONS MILLIE!!! Noah should totally be best man. Haha."

While Swift did not comment on the post that referenced her song, she did actually give it a cheeky like, which left many fans going crazy over the interaction.

The interaction comes after Swift made headlines over the Easter weekend with reports she has split up with long-time partner Joe Alwyn.

Speculation grew around the couple's break up from US news outlets, with Entertainment Tonight breaking the news that their split was 'amicable' and 'not dramatic'.

CNN collaborated those reports, saying that the pair had grown apart and ended up going their separate ways several weeks ago.

However, it should be noted that neither Swift nor Alwyn have publicly confirmed that they have called it quits.
