1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has paid tribute to her estranged husband Caleb after he tragically died this week.

Tammy Slaton has made a loving tribute to her estranged husband Caleb Willingham after he suddenly passed away.

The 1000-Lb Sisters star shared photos of her and her former spouse on social media, after he tragically died aged 40.

In the caption, she told her followers that Willingham had shown her ‘real love and happiness’.

The TLC star met Willingham at a weight loss rehabilitation facility in Ohio last year, with the pair soon beginning a whirlwind romance.

By November, Caleb had proposed and just a month later the couple would marry in a stunning ceremony.

At the time, the 1000-Lb Sisters star called the day ‘magical’ and told People that she’d married ‘her best friend’.

"Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room,” gushed Slaton during the interview.

Sadly though, they would reportedly separate just six months later in May 2023 - leaving fans of the TLC show devastated by the news.

Despite this, Slaton has shared a touching tribute to her estranged husband on Instagram with several photos of them taken during their first Christmas together.

Reacting to the tragic news of his passing, she wrote in the caption: “Rip sweet angel you… will forever be missed and loved so much…thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness.”

The reality TV star also gave a statement to People magazine about her sudden loss.

She told the publication: “I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing. He was my best friend and I loved him dearly.

"When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me.

"Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time."

Willingham's young brother has also given his own tributes to the 40-year-old, on Facebook.

The touching post began: "I can't believe I'm even making this post, but today GOD called my big brother home.

"R.I.P. Caleb Willingham aka Killla K aka Double K aka one half of the dynamic WWF tag team champions The W Boys aka my biggest supporter in anything I do.

"You will be forever loved and missed. Until we meet again."

His stepmother, Shirley Willingham, also confirmed the news to TMZ but gave no further details about Caleb’s sudden passing.
