Selling Sunset's Maya Confirms She Will No Longer Be On The Show

The real estate agent confirmed the news.

Selling Sunset’s Maya Vander confirmed she will no longer be appearing on the show.

The 40-year-old estate agent confirmed that she does not plan to return to the Netflix series, and will instead be focusing on her new real estate business in Miami, Florida, as well as her family.

She told PageSix: “I decided not to execute my contract. I love the show, and it was great, but I’m excited to focus on the Miami real estate market.”

Vander will make her exit from the Oppenheim group to Compass, which her business is set to be part of.

The co-founder of her old company, Jason Oppenheim is 'well aware' of her move away from his firm, according to Us Weekly.

The mum-of-two, who suffered a tragic stillbirth last year, as well as a recent miscarriage, also added: “I want to focus on my family, and flying coast to coast is a lot. The show is great, and I love everyone, but looking forward to growing my business in South Florida.”

Earlier this week, Maya announced on Instagram that she had recently suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks gestation.

She shared the sad news that she had endured another baby loss on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, 21 June, with a picture of her son Aiden, three, as he slept.

She wrote: “I had a very crazy week.

"Miscarriage after 10 weeks... following my stillbirth.. but my kids and my husband are absolutely my blessings and I am so lucky to be their mother!! They bring joy and happiness to my life!!

"Hug and love the people you care about. Don't take things for granted!"

The reality star is married to David Amar, and they share two children, Aiden and daughter Elle, two.

Her announcement comes six months after she revealed she had a heartbreaking stillbirth on her social media with a picture of a memory box given by the hospital.

At the time, she penned: "I had a still birth at 38 weeks. I always heard of it but never imagined I'll be part of the statistics... "Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box... I do not wish this on anyone.

"What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagined would happen to me...

"Given I share my pregnancies in the show I knew I'll have to post this and avoid ‘when is your due date; question. You will always be in our heart Mason Miller."
