People Are Convinced A$AP Rocky Predicted Falling Pregnant With Rihanna In 2013

Global pop superstar and billionaire makeup mogul Rihanna announced her pregnancy alongside boyfriend, rapper and fashion connoisseur A$AP Rocky in an informal NYC photo shoot on Monday.
As the world celebrated the marvellous news, some fans instantly remembered a particular bar from an A$AP Rocky song released almost a decade ago that "predicted" the Harlem native would start a family with the Diamonds singer.

In 2013 A$AP Rocky released one of his most well known songs, Fashion Killa. The track includes a reference to Rihanna - and she even stars in the video as the eponymous Fashion Killa.
He raps: “Her attitude Rihanna, she get it from her mama, she jiggy like Madonna, but she trippy like Nirvana.”
In another verse he raps about one day having a stylish baby with his beau. “She ball until she fall, that means she shop until she drop, and Versace, got a lot, but she may never wear it, but she save it so our babies will be flyer than their parents.”
Fans are rediscovering Rihanna's cameo in the music video after the couple announced their baby news and some people have also taken the lyrics as ‘proof’ that the couple and their bundle of joy was fate.
One person said in response to the 2013 video said: "This song just got a whole lot prettier now that they are expecting their first baby”.
Another fan shared: “Congrats to them on their pregnancy. He really spoke it into existence. I've always loved this video. Wishing Rih a healthy pregnancy.”
While one hip hop fan chimed in, writing: “Dude made sure that ‘but she save it so our babies will be flyer than their parents.’ line came to life. Kudos.”
While someone else reacted to the video with: “It’s crazy how things came back full circle. Congratulations on the baby.”
The theory was also shared by TikToker @haleysaura, who captioned the video “A$AP Rocky manifested being Rihanna’s baby daddy.”
One commenter wrote: “Omg this makes me happy but also realize you really gotta pay attention to what you say.”
Another fan shared: “I loved that song so much.”
Other TikTok users sent their well wishes to the first time parents. "She will be a fantastic mother, I’m sure," said one fan.
Someone else wrote: "Honestly Rihanna deserves happiness after all she went through in her past relationships. happy for her."
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been friends since 2012, prior to the release of Fashion Killa. The pair collaborated on a remix of Rihanna’s track Cockiness (Love It), which they performed together at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
The rapper performed as the opening act for Rihanna’s 2013 Diamonds World Tour and although a romantic relationship between the two musicians was rumoured at the time, it was never confirmed.
They started dating publicly in November 2020 after months of speculation following her split from Hassan Jameel.
In a May 2021 interview with GQ, Rocky opened up their relationship and called Rihanna the One. "She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones,” he said.
He also teased how he pictured himself becoming a father in the future. "I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad,” he revealed to GQ. “I would have a very fly child. Very.”
