Pierce Brosnan looks so loved up after cruel friends 'offer wife weight loss surgery'

Pierce Brosnan looked mega loved up with his wife Keely Shaye Smith this week, as the couple attended the New York premiere of his film, Black Adam.

The adorable pair have been married for 21 years, and looked happier than ever as they posed for cameras, with Pierce wearing a blue velvet blazer and Keely looking glamorous in a sequinned midi dress.

Their appearance together comes after Pierce, 69, clapped back at people earlier this year who he claims offered his wife weight loss surgery.

The Irish actor ruthlessly defended Keely, 59, after a cruel, now-deleted, post about the couple went viral.

In the post, trolls made a point to compare how Keely's body had changed over the years since she first met Pierce back in 1994.

Pierce immediately shut down the cruel comments, as well as gushing about Keely in the process.

"Friends offered her surgery to reduce her weight. But I strongly love every curve of her body. She is the most beautiful woman in my eyes. And also because she had our five children," he said.

The former James Bond actor added: "In the past, I truly loved her for her person, not only for her beauty, and now I’m loving her even more that she is my children’s mother. And I am very proud of her, and I always seek to be worthy of her love."

Pierce met journalist Keely back in 1994, after she interviewed the actor for Entertainment Tonight. The pair have been inseparable ever since and went on to welcome their first son Dylan, 25, in 1997 before tying the knot in 2001, six months after the birth of their second son, Paris, 21.

Before he met Keely, Pierce was married to actress Cassandra Harris, who sadly died from cancer in 1991.

Pierce recently shared a throwback snap of himself and Keely on their wedding day, to mark their anniversary.

"Happy Anniversary my love @keelyshayebrosnan. We danced that night and still dance the dance today. I could do it all again," he wrote.

And followers were loving the cute post, with one person commenting: "A Perfect sample of real and authentic love !! An influencer indeed."

While another said: "Beautiful couple then & still a beautiful couple."

And a third added: "You two are role models for what a relationship should be like. You are both beautiful people, inside and out. Congratulations!"
