First Look At Olivia Bowen's Baby Shower

Mum-to-be Olivia Bowen has shared a glimpse of her baby shower - and our jaws are dropping. The stunning garden party took place earlier this month with Alex and Olivia's closest friends and family.

The breathtaking safari-themed shower took place under a marquee with rustic style long tables, a three course meal and a spectacular cake.

The party even featured life-size animals, a bar, specially themed cocktails and party games.
Speaking to OK!, Olivia said: "It was just so overwhelming to have all of our friends and family in the same place celebrating little Baby Bowen was so heartwarming!
"Everyone had the best time, we ate loads, danced, laughed and played a few classic baby shower games. I was so tired by the end of it and everyone else was very drunk!"
Describing it as the 'baby shower of dreams' Olivia spoke about the decor and details for the party over on Instagram.
"The Baby shower of dreams. When we moved here & when we first viewed the house, we spoke about the amazing parties & events we could throw in this garden… I will never forget coming outside & seeing it all done up in our own garden just like we had said," she wrote.
"I couldn’t believe how beautiful this ended up looking, relying on the English weather was a touch & go, but I so wanted a safari themed outdoor event & it all worked out in the end. How incredible is this stretch tent too!?
"We are definitely going to get one again for a birthday or party or think of some excuse haha! We had a beautiful three course meal followed by the classic baby shower games, lots of drinks flowing (for everyone but me) and so much fun.
"All our close friends & family were there to celebrate our little baby Bowen, who is due to make an appearance very soon!"
Olivia, 28, and husband Alex Bowen, 30, announced they were expecting their first child together at the start of the year, with the Love Island couple set to welcome their new arrival in June.
The loved-up pair first met during season two of the reality show, and tied the knot in 2018.
Throughout, Olivia has been sharing the highs and lows of pregnancy. Speaking to Tyla last month, Olivia opened up about how the last few months have been a 'rollercoaster'.
"[In the past] I'd never felt so maternal, I never thought this was a road I would be so excited to be going down. I was a party animal and a horse rider, and when I became pregnant I had to stop some of that and it is quite a hard transition," she explained.
"Obviously you do it with a huge grin on your face because you’re about to have a baby and that’s massive, but it is such a big change and people underestimate what you go through mentally and as a person.
"I’ve literally felt like a different human, and it’s a lot to take on, especially for someone like me who has struggled with anxiety and depression.
"It’s scary to see yourself change and you do question a lot... Sometimes people are scared to speak about it because they're scared to be judged, when really we all should be there for each other because it’s such a rollercoaster."
