Love Island Fans Are Already Diving Into The Islanders' Social Media And It Doesn't Disappoint

Love Island Fans Are Already Diving Into The Islanders' Social Media And It Doesn't Disappoint

We can't wait to see how these contestants get on in the villa!

Ever since the new Love Island cast was announced on Monday, fans have been delving into the Instagram accounts of the islanders to see what we can expect from the upcoming series.

And viewers are already honing in on one islander in particular - 26-year-old Dami Hope from Dublin.

Dami works as a senior microbiologist.

Dami works as a senior microbiologist and after setting himself the challenge to be ‘more open to new things’ this year, he’s making his way to the villa.

He describes himself as being ‘funny’ and teased he will 'try not to cause trouble but sometimes you don’t intentionally cause trouble - but it happens!'

After having a scroll through Dami's Instagram, fans have discovered he has referred to himself as a 'verified playboy' - and followers are loving it.

But in another post, the microbiologist seems to have a more romantic side. Posing in a tuxedo inside a hotel, he wrote: “Bing bong, let me take you out to dinner.”

And it sounds like he's ready to find love, after captioning another post with: "If you see love tell her I’m ready to meet her".

Fans are also loving contestant Tasha Ghouri, from Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Tasha is a model and dancer, and is also the first ever deaf contestant on the show.

ASOS model Tasha also has an Instagram page dedicated to 'raising awareness for the deaf community'.

Tasha says her family and friends would describe her as ’wild’ and a ‘party animal’. She loves Prosecco and is always on the dance floor. Although she’s ‘a girls’ girl’ she is ‘here to find my man’ and isn’t afraid to step on anyone’s toes to find him.

“I’ll do it in the nicest way possible,” she quips.

Fans are super happy to see Tasha in the line-up, with one person tweeting: "I'm so pleased that Love island are taking a leaf out of #Strictly's book following Rose's successful win last year. People with a disability are capible [sic] of anything and I'm glad Love island want to show inclusivity."

Love Island fans have also been scrolling through the Instagram account of Michael Owen's daughter, Gemma.

Love Island fans have also been scrolling through the Instagram account of Michael Owen's daughter, Gemma.

International dressage rider and business owner Gemma, 19, is one of the youngest contestants on the show this year. She is the daughter of footballer Michael Owen and loves sport, having competed for Great Britain in dressage since she was 11 years old.

Gemma already has a pretty huge Instagram following, with almost 50,000 followers so far. She even seems to have links to some former Love Island contestants, having been followed by 2021 islander, Brad McClelland.

We can't wait to find out how the new contestants get on in the villa!

Let the countdown begin - the eighth series of Love Island will begin on Monday 6th June.
