Khloé Kardashian breaks silence on baby number two with Tristan Thompson

Khloé Kardashian has opened up about becoming a mum-of-two after welcoming her second child with ex-partner Tristan Thompson.

The 38-year-old reality TV star has welcomed her second child, a boy, via surrogate with ex-partner Thompson, People Magazine confirmed earlier this month on 5 August.

When asked about how it feels having two youngsters to care for, Khloé said: "I love everything, even the hard parts.

"I [my kids] challenge me as a person, and being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honor and a gift.

The Good American founder said she takes her role as a parent 'seriously', adding: "We have to take those roles seriously, especially in today’s day and age, with how much accessibility children have and the information they’re exposed to so young.

"It’s super scary, but I take my job very seriously. I love it so much."

News of Khloé's second child, whom she welcomed via a surrogate, only came to light back in July and it was revealed she had conceived her son and four-year-old True Thompson's younger brother with Tristan in November 2021.

The Chicago Bulls basketball player is also the father of Prince, five, with his ex Jordan Craig and an eight-month-old son, Theo, with Maralee Nichols.

Fitness model Maralee Nichols announced she had given birth to Tristan's third child in December 2021, after it emerged he had a sexual encounter with Maralee during his 30th birthday celebrations in March.

He was in a relationship with Khloé at the time, who found out about Tristan's third child after Maralee filed a suit against him in scenes which were filmed for The Kardashians.

In January 2022, Tristan publicly apologised to Khloé after a paternity test proved he had fathered a child with Maralee.

Tristan and Khloé have had an on-off relationship since they first started dating in 2016 and understandably, their relationship was constantly rocked with cheating scandals.

Only days before Khloé gave birth to True in 2018, a number of videos were released which appeared to show Tristan kissing a woman at a rooftop bar.

Another photo was then released showing Tristan following a woman to a hotel room.

While Khloé and Tristan reconciled, they split in February 2019 after it was alleged that Tristan was seen kissing Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods at a party.

Despite reconciling in 2020, things just weren't meant to be for the couple and they now civilly co-parent their two children while remaining separated.
