Mum-of-two Khloé Kardashian has said bonding with her young son Tatum has got 'easier' over time since she welcomed him via surrogate.

Khloé, 38, grew her family with the arrival of Tatum in August 2022, when she officially made a big sister out of her five-year-old daughter, True.

She shares her two kids with Tristan Thompson, who she had an on-and-off relationship with between 2016 and 2021, and shortly after Tatum's arrival she officially changed his last name to be the same as his dad's.

Earlier this month, Khloé admitted in an episode of The Kardashians that her experience with Tatum has been very different to the one she had with True.

"Compare it to True and him, it’s a different experience," she said. "The connection ... took days with True. With him, it's taken me, like, months. I love him and I love kids, but I definitely still don't have that complete bond. But you know, so many say it takes time."

The mum admitted to feeling guilty over the differences between her bonds with her kids, adding: "I don’t treat him differently, just question myself sometimes."

Khloé has since assured that the bond is getting 'easier', and when she left the kids at home in the latest episode of the reality show she admitted she had 'FOMO' about what was going on with them.

Having travelled to Milan to support Kim Kardashian's 'Ciao Kim' collection, Khloé said: "I definitely have my FOMO of being at home. I have two little humans to miss and freak out about. Bonding with the baby has definitely gotten easier. This is going to be hard."

Khloé has previously admitted that going through a surrogate to have her second child was 'hard' for her, after she had carried True herself.

"It's a mindf*ck. It's really the weirdest thing," she said.

Khloé has been candid about her struggles to bond with Tatum.

"I do think there is a difference when your baby is in your belly, the baby actually feels your real heart. Think about it. There's no one else on this planet that will feel you from the inside like that, your heart."

A source previously told People that Khloé was encouraged by Kim to pursue surrogacy after struggling to get pregnant naturally.

"Khloé tried to get pregnant for a while," they said. "When this didn't work out, they decided to explore other options. Kim supported and encouraged Khloe to find a surrogate."

Khloé described herself as 'elated' when she found out her surrogate was pregnant in December 2021.
