Kendall Jenner admits to feeling ‘out of place in her family’ and said she ‘didn’t choose this life’.

The 27-year-old supermodel opened up about her life in the spotlight in WSJ. Magazine.

Kendall, whose part of the other royal family (The Kardashians, obviously) was pretty much born into a life of being famous.

She was just 11-years-old when Keeping Up with the Kardashians first landed on our screens on E! all the way back in 2007.

The family soon became household names and now the various sisters (and low-key brother Rob) all run their own successful business, alongside their Disney Plus show, and pretty much live in most of our minds rent free.

Hulu.

But first appearing on the show with little sister Kylie and getting up to iconic mischievous antics – never forget Kendall making a profit on paying the dog walker or when the pair played on the stripper pole – Kendall has took a step back over the years.

As she got older and pursued a modelling career, she often featured much less in the show than the likes of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney.

She tells WSJ. Magazine: “Since I was really young, I felt out of place in my family. I was born into this life, but I didn’t choose this life.

“I’m not built for this by any means. I’m not good at it. I do it, and I’ve learned how to do it.”

Since starting off modelling at 14-years-old, Kendall has since appeared on countless magazine covers, featured in huge fashion campaigns, starred in adverts, and walked runways around the world, keeping her spot as the ‘world’s highest paid supermodel’ in 2018, as per Vogue.

Although The Kardashians is easily one of the most globally-famous and popular reality TV shows, Kendall is still adjusting to the pressures of the industry and marvels at sister Kim.

She says: “[Kim’s] like, ‘I used to go to Kitson on Robertson just to get photographed…’ I think she was built for [this life].”

A younger Kendall would usually scathe paparazzi for following her, but times are seemingly changing: “It took me [almost] 20 years to be like, OK, I guess I’m getting used to it now and it’s fine and I get it.”

But she’s not just a star of one of the best guilty-pleasure shows or just a top model, she also has her celeb-fave tequila brand, 818.

As her sisters launch products in the beauty, fashion, shape wear, wellness and many, many other industries, she 'obviously understands' that she 'falls under the umbrella of the Kardashian sisters'.

Adding: “It’s just weird to me ... because I am just like my dad in so many ways. I’m such a Jenner, in my opinion.”
