Kendall Jenner Responds To Claims She Wore 'Inappropriate' Dress To Friend's Wedding

Kendall Jenner has finally spoken out after being criticised for the dress she wore to friend Lauren Perez's wedding last year.

Kendall Jenner has broken her silence on the 'inappropriate' black dress she wore to her best friend's wedding last year.

In November, the 26-year-old reality TV star and model posted a series of snaps from Lauren Perez's wedding. Little did she know the internet would implode after seeing her Mônot RTW Spring 2022 dress, which drew a mixed response.

Last year's most talked about wedding guest dress has triangular slits of fabric covering parts of Kendall's upper body and the fabric slits join in the middle creating a geometric pattern.

Some women concluded Kendall’s dress was too 'revealing' to be worn at a wedding. Others said she should dress 'conservatively' and many claimed she wouldn’t be allowed at their own wedding if she arrived in that dress.

One woman said at the time: “Truly can’t stop thinking about the fact that not only does this dress exist but that Kendall is wearing it at someone’s wedding.”

After the bride posted a bunch of photos from her wedding to Instagram to celebrate 2021 and to mark the new year, the criticism towards Kendall’s outfit continued.

One instagram commenter stepped in and defended both Kendall and the bride. “If the bride herself doesn’t g-a-f, why do you care, relax?” They wrote.

Lauren chimed in, adding: “Tell ‘em! SHE LOOKED STUNNING AND I LOVED IT!”

Kendall soon entered the comment section to give her two cents. “Obvi, asked for your approval in advance, too. We love a beach wedding.”

After uploading new pictures, Lauren’s comment section was filled with harsh critiques on Kendall’s outfit choice once again.

One person left the comment: “How to upstage the bride 101.”

Another shocked Instagram user wrote: “Wtf Kendall's dress.”

While a third said: "Inappropriate outfit at a wedding @kendalljenner, I'm embarrassed for you. #cringe.”

However there were some supportive comments. One fan called Kendall a ‘queen’.

While someone else joked: “Tell Kendall gimme that dress she not gon wear no more anyway lol.”

A third person said: “Everybody was exhaling power at your wedding like whaaat.”

While a fourth left the message: “Everybody was STUNNING.”
