Aubrey Plaza has opened up about her husband Jeff Baena's death for the first time.
Baena, 47, died at his Los Angeles home in January.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed that he had sadly taken his own life.
At the time, Plaza spoke out in a statement, calling Baena's death an 'unimaginable tragedy'.

“This is an unimaginable tragedy," the actor said in a statement issued to The Independent.
"We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
The couple were notoriously private about their relationship, having first met in 2011 when she auditioned for his film Life After Beth.
They later married in private, with fans only realising they had tied the knot when Plaza referred to Baena as her 'husband' in a social media post.

Several months on from the devastating news, and Plaza sat down with Amy Poehler for an episode of her podcast Good Hang.
Poehler asked Plaza how she was doing, to which she responded: "Overall, I'm here and I'm functioning. I feel really grateful to be moving through the world. I think I'm OK, but it's like a daily struggle, obviously."
Plaza then compared her grief to a movie starring Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy called The Gorge.

"This is a really dumb analogy and it was kind of a joke at a certain point, but I actually mean it. Did you see that movie The Gorge?" she asked.

"It's like [an] alien movie or something with Miles Teller. In the movie, there's like a cliff on one side and there's a cliff on the other side, then there's gorge in between and it's filled with all these like monster people that are trying to get them.
"I swear when I watched it, I was like that feels like what my grief is like... or what grief could be like.

"At all times there's like a giant ocean of awfulness, that's like right there and I can see it.
"Sometimes I just want to dive into it, and just like be in it. Then sometimes I just look at it, and sometimes I try to get away from it. But, it's always there."

Baena and Plaza began dating in 2011, before getting married 10 years later.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the White Lotus star revealed they'd been married at their home by an officiant from a website called 'OneHourMarriage.com' during the pandemic.
She said: "I can’t remember a lot of it, it was fuzzy. But I’m pretty sure it’s legal."
