With Y2K hairstyles all the rage right now, you may have been stocking up on small elastics to create bobble-esque ‘dos.

But as cool as they look on a big night out or in selfies, this small elastics are a real pain in the behind to get out without yanking full handfuls of your hair out.

Thankfully, one TikToker has shown an easier way to get them out of your locks without resulting in a mangled mane.

You can watch the video below.

TikTok user @amberrosepeakehair showed how one hair tool provides the perfect solution at how to get small elastic hair ties out without damage – and it literally works like magic.

In other beauty news, rainbow contouring is the latest make-up trend we’re all eager to try.

‘Rainbow Contour’ is a beauty trend where the user draws curves around their face with liquid or cream contour, blush and concealer or foundation.

Once the makeup is applied across the skin before it is blended, it resembles a rainbow - hence the name! (TikTok TikTok @gabxxrielle).

The idea behind this contouring technique is to enhance or slim down certain facial features using liquid or cream products all in one go, rather than needing to apply multiple products one after the other which can prolong the process.
