It's hard to believe The Inbetweeners first aired almost 14 years ago.

The coming-of-age comedy sitcom ran for three seasons between 2008 and 2010, and focussed on a group of four friends at sixth form - Will, Simon, Jay and Neil.

And while many fans will remember some of the central relationships from the show - for example, Will and Charlotte (played by Emily Atack) - did you know that one couple from the series are still together now?

Yep, one shocked TikToker took to social media after taking 10 years to realise.

You can watch the clip below:

Did you know about this?!

It's believed the couple actually met on set during season three of the show, before they started dating in 2012.

Fans will remember that that their relationship on the show was a bit of a shambles. The pair ended up together after Tara (Hannah Tointon) asked Simon (Joe Thomas) to a gig - which ended in disaster after Tara throws up all over him.

Things go from bad to worse when Simon travels to Warwick to meet Tara's sister, but brings along Will, Jay and Neil, which of course ended terribly.

After meeting in 2012, the couple got engaged in 2017 and live together in London. They're both pretty private about their relationship, however, Tara did call Joe "the love of her life" back in 2020.

Speaking to The Sun, when asked who or what was the love of her life, she said: "My fiancé Joe. We’ve been together for 10 years. He’s just brilliant."

And heaps of other fans are only just realising the pair are together, with one commenting on the clip: "Didn’t knows this 😂 made my day."

While another said: "Did not know this!"

And a third added: "I didn’t know this, I’m so happy 😅."

Meanwhile a fourth joked: "Beep beep Tara update!"
