Netflix viewers are in floods of tears over the streaming service's latest release.

Check out the heartwarming film here:

If we had a quid for every time we cried at a Netflix film, we'd be rich - seriously, it doesn't take a lot to set us off.

Still, the streamer's newest release Slumberland is getting fans right in the feels, with many taking to Twitter to share their reaction to the heartwarming film.

For those not familiar, Slumberland is directed by Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games) and stars Jason Momoa, Chris O'Dowd, and Marlow Barkley, sounds like a winner right?

And if that didn't have you sold, the film's plot might: "Joined by a larger-than-life outlaw, a daring young orphan journeys through a land of dreams to find a precious pearl that will grant her greatest wish."

Sounds perfect for an evening's watching as the nights draw darker and colder, with people on Twitter firmly agreeing.

The new film is a right tear-jerker.
Netflix

One excited fan of the film wrote: "#Slumberland made me cry. It's a beautiful film tho," and honestly, same here!

While others were surprised by just how much they cried: "Nobody WARNED ME that #Slumberland would make me CRY for gosh sakes."

And, it turns out that was pretty much most peoples' review of the film, with a third adding: "Not #Slumberland making me cry."

While another said: "#Slumberland had no business being a tearjerker like that! Damn!!"

It's not just people on Twitter praising the film, though, as film critics also shared in their praise of the touching new movie.

It is a nice costume to be fair.
Netflix

Though people on Twitter weren't the only ones gushing about the film, as Momoa told Screen Rant in a recent interview, the costumes for the fantastical film were everything he could've ever dreamed of: "It's all the things that I love. I mean, everything down to the purples and the velvets and all this."

There are even special little touches in his costume that really bring his character, Flip, to life: "Then the gloves that I wear are my skate gloves that I wore when I was a little kid that I loved. They're like my favourite gloves.

"It's wonderful to put all that on. Your hair, your makeup team, and your costume, it made it very easy to slip into Flip."

And if you've not seen the new film yet, get ready to absolutely cry your heart out because it's a real tear-jerker.
