Ahh, it’s that time of year again – that mythical time between Christmas and New Year where you don’t know what day it is and time just doesn’t seem to matter.
To pass the hours where you’re still in a Christmas daze, you may have turned to Netflix for some easy viewing – with a classic like Modern Family to keep you company.
However, you may have noticed you’re running out of time to watch the classic sitcom, as it is being pulled from the streaming service in the New Year.

Naturally, fans of the show – which originally aired between 2009 and 2020 – are less than pleased to see it taken off Netflix.
Taking to Twitter to vent their displeasure, one fan irritably wrote: “How am I going to get through 2022 without modern family being on Netflix?”
A second agreed: “To whoever decided remove Modern Family from Netflix I hope both sides of your pillow are always warm.”

While a third protested: “Can Netflix not remove Modern Family. Who is it hurting??”
And a fourth wrote: “In denial THAT MODERN FAMILY WONT BE ON NETFLIX.”
“Why is netflix getting rid of MODERN FAMILY instead of Riverdale,” sniped a fifth.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, Modern Family follows the lives of three family units in the suburban part of Los Angeles.

It is filmed in a similar style as The Office, presented as a mockumentary with confessional interview segments where characters share their true feelings.
The three families in Modern Family are all linked through patriarch Jay Pritchett, played by Ed O’Neill.
Sofía Vergara, Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter all star in the series.
So if you’re looking for something to watch over the next few days, better start Modern Family sooner rather than later.

But never fear – if you’re still keen to watch the sitcom, episodes should be available to view on Disney Plus.
