Inventing Anna Fans Are Just Discovering Where They've Seen Actress Anna Chlumsky Before

If you've been glued to Shondaland drama Inventing Anna on Netflix, you might have noticed that Vivian Kent looks rather familiar.

Fans have just noticed that the actress who plays Vivian, Anna Chlumsky, also starred in one of our favourite 90s movies.

Yep, Anna also played Vada Sultenfuss in My Girl, a 1991 movie about an 11-year-old little girl whose mother sadly died during birth.

One person wrote on Twitter: "Vivian on #InventingAnna is the girlie from My Girl 🤯."

While another said: "I was having a hard time figuring out where I saw Vivian from… she’s literally MY girl!"

And a third added: "The moment you realise Vivian Kent is the one from the movie 'My Girl'."

Meanwhile a fourth wrote: "That moment when you realise that Vivian Kent was Vada in 'My girl' movie... feel old yet? #InventingAnna."

And a fifth added: "Watching #InventingAnna … it’s CRAZY how @AnnaChlumsky still looks so similar to when she played Vada in my girl!!!!! I haven’t seen that movie in years and right away I was like 'that’s the girl from my girl!'"

The series is based around the now infamous New York magazine article written by Jessica Pressler which documented the stranger-than-fiction tale of Anna Delvey – aka “the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York’s social scene - and stole their money as well".
