I'm A Celeb Fans In Tears From One Line In Danny's Letter

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! fans were left in tears last night after David Ginola read Danny Miller's letter from home to the rest of the camp.

The Emmerdale actor received a letter from his fiancé Steph after fellow I’m a Celeb star David Ginola won it for him in a challenge during Monday night's episode. 

Steph spoke on behalf of the pair’s baby son Albert and viewers at home sobbed when the letter thanked David for looking after Danny in the camp.

“Dear Daddy, it’s Steph and Albert here. He recognises your voice on the telly and looks up at it when he hears you.

“I really think he looks more and more like you every day.”

David became even more emotional when he was mentioned in Danny's letter: “We all love watching your relationship with David blossom. Thank you David for looking after our boy.”

But it was the final line that made the floodgates open. “Finally, remember what I tell you every day, you are strong, you are wise… we feel extra lucky to call you ours.

"You are our daddy, our only daddy, you make us happy when skies are grey. My first ever love and my last.”

David became so emotional while reading his pal’s letter, he walked away from the other members of the camp with his hands covering his face and he cried.

His friend Danny followed closely behind him and hugged him as he thanked the retired footballer for winning the letter for him. “I’m proud of you,” Danny said comfortingly. “It was beautiful. They love you so much.”

One viewer tweeted: "David reading Danny's letter but so emotional that he didn't receive his letter. it got me when david was reading that steph was happy that he had him in the castle."
