Fast And Furious Fans Have A Chilling Theory About The Storyline

People are divided on the theory.

A Fast and Furious fan has shared an interesting theory about the franchise - but some are divided.

Taking to Reddit, the fan revealed a 'coma theory' about Dom, but could it be true?

Explaining the theory, the Redditor theorised that the entire franchise could all be a part of Dom's coma from the first movie.

"The Fast and Furious franchise is all Dom's coma caused by the crash at the end of the first film," they said.

"Dom races in an RX7 in the first film, but only ever drives muscle cars in the following films. Obviously s**t just gets wilder and wilder with each movie so perhaps these are his coma dreams based on films that are playing in the hospital.

"The original characters are the characters visiting, Leon got arrested and moves on (why we never see him again). We only see Vince again because he was being patched up and moving to prison. Letty is either already out OR is completely in his head. Brian didn't go off to Miami that's just a story his mind came up with."

The theory is certainly blowing our minds, but it doesn't stop there.

"I believe the events of Tokyo drift happen, however, it's more of Dom being told the crazy news about street racing in Japan," the fan continued.

"Every new character we meet are doctor checking in on Dom and talking to him in his dream. I think it will cause A LOT of upset if the last part of the last film is Dom coming to after the crash.

"What are some other bits to add to this or disprove it?"

Other fans are divided, with one person commenting on the thread: "I mean... it's not the most far-fetched thing in the FF Franchise..."

Another added: "This is a pretty cool theory."

Others disagreed, however, with one writing: "'It was all a dream' is a theory that can be applied to every piece of media in existence. I dislike it. It changes nothing, because reality is what we perceive it as. Pretend it's true, Dom's in a coma, right? That's his reality now, it's real to him."

Hmmm, what do you think?
