Married At First Sight’s Daniel Holmes has announced his split with girlfriend Carolina Santos.
Fans previously speculated that the pair were no longer together, and the 31-year-old reality TV star put an end to everyone’s suspicions with a statement posted to Instagram on Monday.
He wrote: “I'm getting bombarded so much at the moment, considering all the articles out right now about the status of Carolina and I.
“I think it's been obvious for a while we have gone our separate ways. There's no right way to deal with these situations.”
He continued: "There’s a huge pressure to just hold off going public for as long as possible cause you know all the hate that’s gonna come."

He rounded off the statement with his well-wishes for his ex-partner, writing: “I wish Carolina all the best and I know she feels the same for me, we had a very unique experience together full of every emotion possible but life just has a different plan for us.”
He asked for fans to 'be kind please' in the caption, while onlookers sent their regards for the pair.
"Sorry to hear. Take care of you," one fan penned, whilst another added: "Sad to hear about this - really loved y’all together - but never mind wish y’all both the best."
"So sorry to hear, take the time you need to heal yourself and don’t worry about the haters," said another.
Their news comes just days after Carolina wrote a cryptic message on Instagram, signalling to their breakup.
“Smile and no one will see how broken you are inside,” she penned, prompting fans to ask: “Oh, dear Lord... was there a break-up?”
The pair began their relationship whilst Carolina was officially 'married' to her on-screen husband Dion Giannarelli.
The pair had several encounters while Dion made multiple attempts to try and work things out with Carolina.
Elsewhere in Married At First Sight news, stars from the series Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria have revealed the gender of their baby.
The pair met at the altar during their time on the hit E4 reality series and are now expecting their first child together.
Taking to the comments section, fans have sent their well-wishes following their gender reveal.
