People Are Shocked By How Old Jojo Siwa Was When She Started Dyeing Her Hair

“How has her scalp not fallen off?”

We know that even little children love to experiment with their appearance – but this must surely be a stretch too far.

An unearthed clip from cult reality series Dance Moms has now gone viral on TikTok, seeing a very young JoJo Siwa talk about dyeing her hair.

Watch the video below.

While we’re still recovering over the fact the dance star, 18, isn’t actually a natural blonde, others were left stunned that JoJo has been altering her appearance since such a young age.

Naturally, the video, which has racked up over 10 million views, saw concerned viewers comment in their thousands in utter amazement that JoJo has been doing this for so long.

“How has her scalp not fallen off?” one person gasped, while another said: “What is wrong with her mom?”

“This is so upsetting, she was so young!” a third wrote. “Bleach literally itches and burns too, it’s not a pleasant experience.”

“Whattttt???? Her Mum has lost it,” a fourth added, and a fifth said: “That’s just so sad.”

Dance Moms initially aired back in 2011, and followed the Abby Lee Dance Company as they tried to make stars of their dancers, giving viewers an insight at what it’s like to compete in dance competitions across the country. As well as Siwa, the show also made Maddie Ziegler, a dancer who has appeared in several of Sia’s music videos, a household name.

JoJo left Dance Moms in the show’s sixth season after she signed a deal with Nickelodeon.

JoJo’s popularity has only grown in more recent years, after releasing a hit single Boomerang in 2016.

She was also named one of TIME magazine’s most influential people in the world in 2020 thanks to her soaring online popularity.

More recently, JoJo laced second on America’s answer to Strictly Come Dancing, titled Dancing With The Stars. She made history in the show’s first ever same-sex partnership, dancing with Jenna Johnson.
