Bridgerton fans are at the edge of their seats waiting for the new season to drop. Luckily, Netflix released a bunch of first look images ahead of the drama’s return in March, and eagle-eyed fans are now convinced a main character is pregnant.
One picture shows BFFs Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Peyton) engaged in what looks like a very intense conversation.

Eloise’s hands are placed firmly at the top of her tummy and fans have assumed this this a sign she’s with child.
Showrunner Chris Van Dussen also tweeted the picture and fans instantly responded with their theories.
“What is going on with this timeline why is Eloise suddenly pregnant,” asked on Bridgerton fan.

Another fan reacted with “WHAT IS HAPPENING?????”
A third asked: “Is Eloise pregnant????”
Season 2 is based on The Viscount Who Loved Me the second book in Julia Quinn’s novel series, which focuses primarily on Anthony.
Anthony is convinced he should marry for duty, not love - and this leads to lots of drama as he meets Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) who arrive from India.

Eloise does not become pregnant in Quinn’s second book, but she does become a stepmum in the fifth book titled To Sir Phillip, With Love, where she is considered a “spinster” because she is unmarried at the age of 28.
She becomes penpals with a man called Sir Philip who eventually proposes to Eloise and while the relationship is rocky at the start, especially after she meets his two unruly children, they soon become a family.
