A woman was left red-faced after she got in contact with a swimwear brand to complain about the shape of a swimsuit she had ordered.
Glasgow woman Lyndsey Brown had worn the one-shoulder swimsuit on a girls' trip to Ibiza, when she noticed that the swimming costume didn't fit quite right.
It was only when she sent a photo to the swimwear company to complain that she realised she had been wearing the swimsuit upside down.

Mortifying!

When she realised her mistake, Lyndsey and her friends were in stitches, and shared screenshots of the conversation online, where it immediately went viral.
In the screenshot of her back-and-forth with Pear Swimwear, originally shared back in 2019, Lyndsey shared a photo of herself wearing the upside-down one-piece, writing: "Hey, I wore that swimsuit today.

"And it's [stretchy] like anything. I only wore it [for] a couple of hours. My vagina was hanging out constantly. Is it meant to stretch like that?"
She added: "This is what it was like. It was so bad and embarrassing. Like it was totally fine at first but afterwards it was so bad."

After analysing Lyndsey's photo, a representative from the swimwear brand quickly got back to her to explain where she had gone wrong.

Sharing a photo of what the swimsuit should look like, they wrote: "Hi Lyndsey. I'm really sorry you were embarrassed by your swimsuit. I have had a look at the picture you have sent and believe you are wearing the swimsuit upside down."

After clearing up her confusion, and later going viral across Facebook and Twitter, Lyndsey gave a her new followers a further update.
It turns out that, not only did she have her one-piece on upside down, but she had actually originally been wearing it the right way around - and only got herself tangled in the swimsuit after a tipsy trip to the bathroom.

Taking to Twitter to explain herself, she wrote: "I went to Ocean Beach wearing the swimsuit in perfect condition and the CORRECT way - had too much fun with alcohol, went to the toilet a few hours later and put my swimsuit on upside down WITHOUT KNOWING. I then got kicked out after this for being a lightweight NOT a tramp xxx"
