Nothing gets the internet talking faster than a designer dupe and shoppers say this is ‘the best one yet’.

People have been rushing to buy a sell-out high street dress that’s £195 cheaper than the coveted original.

With lots of glowing five-star reviews online, the Marks and Spencer dress has taken over social media since its debut and it’s not hard to see why.

In the reviews section, one customer wrote, “Beautiful dress and the size is a perfect fit. I've got lots of compliments when wearing this dress. I love it.”

Another echoed this, as they commented: “I have recommended this dress to two friends who both bought and love it because I love mine so much. I'll be wearing this lovely dress again and again. A real fashion winner from M&S here.”

The dress in question has been compared to the cult Ganni Leopard Print Smock Dress that costs £295. Both dresses have tie fronts, puffy sleeves, and a relaxed smock silhouette - but the M&S version is just £39.50.

It turns out, many shoppers prefer the budget version and not just for its attractive price tag, as the garment is apparently ‘really comfortable’ and a ‘flattering fit’.

Comparing the M&S dress to the Ganni number, one shopper wrote: “Oh, how I love thee. I wanted the Ganni one but couldn’t justify the price - as it’s very gappy on the chest due to the multiple ties. This M&S version is a winner.”

Well, there you have it.

Why do customers love the M&S leopard print dress?

According to reviews, the Marks and Spencer Animal Print Tie Neck Dress is loved for its ‘perfect fit’ and endless ways of styling the outfit, from boots and ballet flats to sandals when summer rolls around.

The dress has a ‘midaxi’ silhouette and can be adjusted to be the right fit for you using the front ties. Due to its oversized silhouette, customers recommend sizing down if you’re unsure.

Where can I buy the Ganni designer dupe?

Surprisingly, the M&S leopard print dress is still in stock for £39.50 with a range of sizes to choose from - but stocks won't last long.

M&S recently released a pair of near identical ballet flats to the Ganni Buckle Ballerinas. They sold out instantly online, so let this be a lesson if you'd like the leopard print dress.
