As the weather starts to get that bit warmer, many of us will be looking for a lighter alternative to our usual foundation or base products. And that’s where a tinted moisturiser comes in.

They usually give you a hint of colour to help even out skin tone and cover any redness, while still being lightweight and breathable enough to wear in the heat and humidity.

This is the latest addition to the Hydra Vizor range.

And women can’t get enough of Rihanna’s brand new skincare launch.

Priced at £32, the Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturizer SPF30 is available in 10 shades – taking you from the lightest to the darkest of skin tones. And if you recognise the name, that’s because it’s actually the second product to be released as part of the Hydra Vizor range.

The original Hydra Vizor Invisible Moistuizer SPF30 has all the same benefits as this new release, except for the fact that it does not have a tint to it. So, Rihanna and the Fenty Beauty team appear to have listened to customers who were looking for them to create a tinted version of their beloved moisturiser.

The only catch – you do need to purchase the Hydra Vizor outer case, which is sold separately for £5, in order to use this product. But in the long run, this means that you will only need to buy the refills, which should help to reduce the amount of plastic waste that is created.

There are 10 shades to choose from.

What ingredients does it include?

As well as having an SPF of 30 to protect against sun and UV damage, that can cause premature ageing, this tinted moisturiser is packed full of hydrating and skin calming ingredients. Niacinamide (or vitamin B3, as it is sometimes referred to) helps to reduce the appearance of pores and dark spots, creating a smooth base for you to apply makeup on top of.

Whereas hyaluronic acid and aloe have been utilised to add hydration into the skin while simultaneously soothing and protecting it.

You do need to buy the outer case, which is sold separately, to dispense the tint.

What are customers saying?

One happy shopper took to the Boots website to explain: “I was a little apprehensive about the limited shade range and thought the shade closest to my skin tone may not have suited me…I was very wrong.

"This tinted moisturiser blended in very quickly and adjusted to my skin tone. It is very light, yet hydrating and leaves a satin finish to the skin. I am very impressed and enjoying using this a lot.”

While another admitted: “Love this tinted moisturiser - it left my skin looking glowy but with a natural finish which I just love. Great that it also has SPF30 sun protection. Would recommend.”

The Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Huez Tinted Moisturizer SPF30 is available from Sephora UK.
