Tattoos can be a hot topic of conversation, right? Do you go with something that is a little tamer or make a real statement?

Well, one woman has certainly gone with the latter as she was filmed having her boyfriend's face tattooed on her.

Not only that, but the new tatt was inked on the woman's neck, making it very obvious to everybody who sees her in the street.

You can see her get the eyebrow-raising tattoo below:

Hairstylist Jayda C was filmed by her boyfriend Damonte in the chair, showing her previous tattoo of his name on her neck.

The video posted to TikTok by her boyfriend under the username @damonteray, showed the woman having the wild tattoo inked.

In a caption to The TikTok, Damonte wrote: "My girlfriend getting my face tatted," before adding 'bae lit'.

The camera then panned to the tattoo artist working on a stencil of Damonte's face from a photograph that he had provided.

After carefully stencilling out the design, the tattoo artist cut out the final design for the tattoo and placed it in Jayda's throat.

Do you think the tattoo looks like her boyfriend?

As you'd probably expect with a neck tattoo - not that I'd know - it seemingly hurt the woman quite a bit.

But when the tattoo was all done, the artist placed the picture of Damonte portrait next to the woman's neck for comparison.

Let's just hope that the seemingly loved-up couple do not split up as that tattoo will be a bit of an awkward one.

The video has gone viral on TikTok with more than 4.2 million views, 350,000 likes and 25,000 comments.

The tattoo has certainly divided opinion.

The tatt has certainly divided opinion on the video platform as thousands weighed in to give their thoughts.

"Someone needs to confiscate that tattoo machine immediately," one person said.

A second added: "What’s the artist's name so I can never go there."

Meanwhile, a third simply wrote: "She messed up."

And a fourth remarked: "Red flag when he wasn’t wearing gloves to apply the cream."

However, there were a few who thought that the tattoo was actually a romantic gesture.

"This is love," one person said.

And second added: "You know what. It looks just like him."
