One sexologist took the phrase 'statement necklace' to a whole new level after wearing a vibrator round her neck at a fancy fashion event.

The sexpert, Chantelle Otten, said she 'felt empowered' by her choice in accessory after attending the Karla Spetic show at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week earlier this week (17 May).

To the naked eye, it seems as if Chantelle was just wearing a unique bit of bling but - upon further inspection - it's clear she's got a sex toy draped round her neck.

Chantelle took to Instagram to share with her 191k some extra details about the outfit she opted for.

She told her fans the event filled her with 'immense joy and excitement'.

The sexologist continued: "I was honoured to embrace this incredible opportunity to wear Karla’s beautiful design with Lovehoney pieces including a beautiful vibrator necklace, expertly incorporated into Karla's vision."

She dubbed the 'fusion of fashion and sexual wellness' a 'powerful statement'.

Chantelle concluded: "Last night was wonderful and I felt high vibrations from the show and a sense of empowerment, confidence, and a celebration of pleasure.

"It's an unforgettable experience that captivates both the fashion world and the realm of sexual liberation."

People praised the sexpert for her bold choice in accessories.

People were quick to share their praise for Chantelle's bold choice in accessories.

One Instagram user wrote: "The blue in this dress is beautiful, the fabric falls so softly, the back is gorgeous yet the whole look is powerful. Loving the vibrator pendant and the shoes."

"The dress! The necklace! Everything!" commented another, followed by a bunch of fire emojis.

A third added: "A vision!!!!"

A vision indeed.

The Lovehoney 'Dare Discreet Necklace Vibrator' is currently on sale at 50 percent off costing those looking for a slightly alternative accessory just £34.99.

The product's description describes the piece as a 'teeny vibrator teeming with mighty vibes' which gives users their 'own power to please'.

"As decadent as it is discreet," it continues. "The Dare necklace measures just 4.5 inches in length, dangling from a 27-inch chain to beautifully decorate your neck."

The website informs prospective shoppers: "Its three speeds and two patterns can remain your little secret."

"Wear this tantalising accessory wherever you go, and use the travel lock to ease your mind, giving you confidence that it won't randomly switch on," Lovehoney assures.

The site also instructs customers to 'add a good splash of water-based lubricant' into the mix to bring about the 'best results'.

We truly are living in the future.
