A woman on TikTok has shared a hack that she says 'proves' whether your partner is cheating.

The woman - who goes by @bryzgval22 on TikTok - took to the video sharing platform with a clip of the sneaky trick.

You can watch the video below:

In it, the woman reveals how you can detect if your partner is cheating by slightly opening the mirror on the passenger side. The idea is if someone else sat in the passenger seat and used the mirror, they would close it fully and the woman would know someone else had been in the car.

People were divided on the trick - while some people loved the idea, others pointed out its flaws.

One person wrote: "Women are so smart."

While another said: "This is so smart what."

And a third added: "Hahahaha i caught my ex with that."

The woman left the mirror open slightly (

Others were less than convinced, however, with one writing: "Here's where his mum uses the mirror and he gets accused of cheating."

While another added: "What if his friend uses it tho."

And a third said: "Doesn’t work when his mum cleans his car for him all the time."

Chrissy placed glitter in the passenger mirror (

Last month, we told you about a similar trick, which involved placing glitter in the passenger side mirror.

The TikToker, who goes by the name of @chrissy.j.xx on the platform, explained a trick to use if you suspect your partner is being unfaithful - and all you need is some glitter.

"If you ever suspect your boyfriend is cheating on you, do this," she explains.

While some TikTokers loved the idea, others had reservations over whether it would work - or if an innocent person would end up coated in glitter instead.
