The businessman, who has broken records with his immense wealth, could even become the world's first-ever trillionaire, thanks to his Tesla compensation package.

A simple mathematical equation sees the two men's total net worth equalling an absolutely staggering $601.2 billion.
However, the House of Saud has a combined net worth much greater than that of Musk and Gates, with the ruling royal family of Saudi Arabia boasting a net worth of around $1.4 trillion, per The Economic Times.

Given that half of that figure is a flat $700 billion figure - it's clear the affluent family have nearly $100 billion more than Musk and Gates' combined net worth.
Mind you, the British royal family's net worth is estimated to be around $28 billion, based on figures from Investopedia.
The House of Saud has been ruling Saudi Arabia since 1932, with its fortune primarily stemming from the kingdom’s vast oil reserves, controlled through Saudi Aramco, one of the most valuable companies in the world today.
The Saudi royal family alone is believed to consist of around 15,000 members, with the main share of wealth being held by approximately 2,000 relatives.
The head of the House of Saud is currently King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. His son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), reportedly functions as the de facto ruler, holding significant power as prime minister and leading major national initiatives like Vision 2030.

He is the seventh son of King Salman and the grandson of the nation's founder, Ibn Saud.
According to the Mirror, the über wealthy family have made a number of extravagant purchases over the years.
These are said to include properties all over the world, 'like France's Chateau Louis XIV, bought by MBS for a whopping £235 million, and other lavish acquisitions such as Leonardo da Vinci's Salvator Mundi painting for £349.6 million and a staggering £392 million yacht - mere pocket change for such affluence'.
