AI makes creepy prediction about Prince George after Kate Middleton releases brand new photo of him

Viewers of the latest Royal snap couldn't help but notice a striking resemblance to another member of the monarchy

Following the release of Prince George's 11th birthday portrait earlier today, millions of Brits made the same assertion.

As was the case for his father Prince William, his grandfather King Charles, and his royal siblings Charlotte and Louis, a new photograph of the youngster - who is currently second-in-line to the British throne - is handed out to the public on an annual basis to celebrate each major milestone.

And as we say, his mother Kate Middleton's latest Royal snap certainly got viewers talking, with many arriving at the same realisation that the young Prince is a spitting image of his dad.

Following the release of the sweet black and white portrait - which shows George dressed in a suit as he smiles at the camera - one person wrote online: "He's the spitting image of his father, honestly. Happy Birthday George! And how is he 11 already?"

Another said, "Prince George looks so much like his Dad," before a third chimed in: "Happy birthday! Omg he looks like his dad. Many blessings on your birthday little prince!"

Following the multitude of comments about the eldest child of the Wales' likeness to his old man, 42, we simply couldn't help ourselves, and had to call upon the assistance of AI to really visualise the comparison.

What we didn't expect, however, was how eerie the outcome would be...

That's because, according to the artificially intelligent future photo generator, the father-son duo are soon to be pretty much indistinguishable.

In the two snaps provided, it looks as though Prince George will take on his father's formerly thick locks of dirty blonde hair - which William famously before he went bald, that is.

Whilst his was predominantly straight whilst it lasted, however, George's is predicted to boast plush girls, potentially handed down from his mother's side.

According to the AI portraits, the young Prince is also set to inherit his dad's plump pink lips, strong Roman nose and close-set eyes.

And though it's not evident in the newly-generated cartoon images - being that they cut off at shoulder height - it looks as though Prince George is set to reach a colossal height, similar to that of his currently 6' 3" father.

Honestly, for the Duke of Cambridge, we reckon that - give it 10 years - he'll think he's looking in a mirror when he lays eyes on his eldest son.

Their likeness is kind of adorable, but also kind of creepy.

We haven't quite decided yet.
