Meghan Markle celebrated Lilibet’s fifth birthday by sharing a never-before-seen snap on social media.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave the world a glimpse at Princess Lilibet in a garden in one picture, while the other new photo shows Meghan, Harry and Lilibet together.
“Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili,” Meghan wrote on Instagram.
Lilibet is the couple’s second child and is two years younger than her brother Archie, seven.

Although many people celebrated the new pictures, other social media trolls were unimpressed and decided to share their cruel critiques.
“No shoes, comb nor hair trim,” one disappointed Facebook user commented.
Another disgruntled social media user complained: “Does that child ever have her hair brushed or wear shoes?”

There were a lot of comments about Lili being barefoot, which seemed to anger many commenters.
However other users defended Lilibet and her parents. “So what?” someone wrote in response.
“[It’s] just perfect, natural, no filter,” another defender shared.
“What’s the problem? Are you her mother or is Meghan her mother? Criticising everything this woman does, did you do any better with your kids?” someone else wrote.
And on the topic of shoes, a social media user declared: “They live in California. Lush lawns and sandy beaches. Who needs shoes!”
While someone else declared: “Oh these negative comments about a little girl are so sad. Never mind about her mum and dad, here is a little one with her proud parents. I think it's about time this all stopped.”

The birthday snaps come two weeks after Meghan celebrated her eighth wedding anniversary by sharing pictures from the day of their ceremony.
To celebrate the milestone, Meghan shared a series of previously unseen wedding photos on her Instagram, giving followers a closer look at both their ceremony and evening reception.
The Duchess posted 24 images in total, split between two posts, as she looked back at the day the couple said ‘I do’.
Meghan also shared how the couple celebrated at home. In one clip posted to Instagram Stories, Harry could be seen walking into the kitchen carrying a cake, which was said to be the same lemon and elderflower flavour as their wedding cake.
The cake featured four lit candles, while Harry, Meghan, and their daughter Princess Lilibet sang ‘Happy anniversary to Mama and Papa’ to the tune of ‘Happy Birthday’.
Off camera, Lilibet could then be heard saying: “Blow them!”
The royal pair then blew out the candles before sharing a kiss, while their daughter cheered in the background.
So adorable!
