United States President Donald Trump sent out an unusual campaign fundraising email to his supporters earlier this week.
On Tuesday (13 January), just after midnight, the 79-year-old POTUS sent out the email with the subject line reading: "I'm alone and in the dark," as seen in the Archive of Political Emails.
The body of the email, according to screenshots shared by political commentator Harry Sisson on X, began: "Some people are saying: This is SAD!"
"I’m sitting here. Alone. In the war room. Fighting for you," he continued. "The rest of the staff went home hours ago. It’s just me, one dying laptop, and the 72-hour countdown clock to my first mid-month deadline of the year just RANG."

Trump's email went on to warn: "We are going to have to ACT FAST!"
He then claimed: "If we don't crush my first mid- month deadline of the year, the radical Left flips the House and Senate in 2026 and finishes what they started: "Open borders forever, your guns confiscated, your kids brainwashed.
"And worst of all, your favourite President (ME!) might just go through another FAKE impeachment!"

The email went on to declare that Democrats are 'spending BILLIONS (Dirty Money, I bet) to bury US and bury YOU!,' and that Trump 'need[s] a small sacrifice from every red-blooded American who wants to save the country!'
"I’m dead serious: miss this goal and the MAGA Movement crumbles," the email continued.
Trump carried on, claiming that if people donate $47 within 'the next 30 minutes' of the email, they will receive a 'limited-edition 2026 Trump Calendar,' but then said it's 'nothing compared to losing the country'.

Below the text, a large blue button urged: "This is it. No second chances."
He rounded off the email saying that although 'we have been fighting for years,' he fears 'the end is near'.
"The woke mind virus is infiltrating more and more Americans every day. This could be our last chance!" the email finished off. "Do it for America, show them MAGA is strong!"
Trump’s plea for money from supporters comes as his administration is facing mass criticism from Americans over ICE in multiple cities.

The actions of the immigration officers have been publicly called out by Trump’s most loyal supporters, including podcaster Joe Rogan, who endorsed Trump in 2024.
"Are we really going to be the Gestapo? 'Where’s your papers?' Is that what we’ve come to?" he questioned on his The Joe Rogan Experience podcast earlier this week on Tuesday (13 January).
Many MAGA heads, however, fervently claim that viral clips of Rogan's remarks have been 'taken out of context'.
