Simone Biles has opened up on one cosmetic procedure that put her off getting it done again for life.

The 27-year-old Team USA gold medallist gymnast recently took to TikTok last week (2 August) to explain the side effects of the beauty procedure in question.

In the short clip, the decorated Olympian shared her hair and make-up routine while opening up about the experience.

Speaking about her upcoming performance at the time, Simone revealed she was feeling 'really nervous', adding: "I did have therapy this morning so I feel a little bit better."

She then explained a little more about what happened after she got Botox for the very first time.

"I have a funny story for you guys," the gymnast began. "So, for my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like, Baby Botox, just right here in my T-zone," while pointing to an area on her face many people refer to as their '11 lines'.

"I did not like it ... that’s because I would be, like, standing at practice, and my eyebrow would be slowly going up like this," she said, while raising one eyebrow arch dramatically.

Simone revealed this was happen involuntarily and it became so noticeable that even her own teammates would point it out, adding: "It would go back down in, like, 20 seconds, and it would randomly do that.

"So I haven’t got it again, and mind you that was back in March."

Since then, it seems the effects of the 'Baby Botox' have worn off with Simone rejoicing: "Now, I can do all the facial [expressions].

"So not doing that again.”

Fans have since rushed in to share their praise for Simone's transparency with one TikTok user writing: "You are so real being open about Botox. We heart you GOAT!"

A second chimed in: "Believe in yourself Simone, you are beautiful from inside out.

And another echoed: "You do not need Botox, you are so beautiful, just the way you are."

Simone has left Paris with her head held high after four Olympic medals took her all-time total up to 11.

Combined with the casual 40 World Championship medals, she is now the most decorated gymnast in history.

While she managed to land three gold spots in this year’s games, one event left her disappointed after she lost her balance on the beam – much to the shock of those watching.

The Olympian managed to regain composure and returned to the beam to earn a score of 13.100, but sadly it wasn’t enough for her to medal as she placed fifth.
